Welcome To My Website
If you are looking for a Real Estate Professional who can help you sell your home, or find the perfect place to live in the North Georgia or Western North Carolina area, then you’ve come to the right place! I specialize in friendly, hands-on service. Someone who will be there from start to finish.
I am your "Green Light" to homes and land in the mountains!
I was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi and, at an early age, moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Except for a brief move to Dothan, Alabama, I lived in Chattanooga until 1977. I then moved to Loganville, Georgia where I resided until 1994.
I am married to Sanford Green who was a life long resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia before moving to Hiawassee. We have two children- both in college ( our son is in Graduate School at Boston College in Boston, MA and our daughter is a Freshman at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA where she is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority), and several pets including horses, dogs, and cats.
My husband had always wanted to own his own business and, in 1994, we had the opportunity to purchase the NAPA Auto Parts store in Hiawassee. So we did, and that is how we were able to move to this beautiful area.
Although my primary job since having children has been a stay-at-home Mom (I like to refer to myself as a Domestic Engineer!) I have worked part time as a Substitute Teacher at Towns County Schools, an assistant at the Adult Education Center and I have assisted my husband with our business. Prior to having children, I worked in Customer Service, inside and outside sales, and in the medical field as a Medical Asst. for a pediatrician.
I enjoy traveling, horseback riding, crossword puzzles, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the North Georgia Board of Realtors, the Women's Council of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. I also am an active member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church where I serve on the Greeting Committee and have been on several Mission trips through the church.
I chose to get my Real Estate License because I thought it would be fun and rewarding to assist potential Buyers in finding a home or home site and also to assist Sellers in marketing their home or land. I am a
licensed Realtor in Georgia, a licensed Broker/Realtor in North Carolina and have received accreditation as a Seller Representative Specialist. I strive to further my knowledge of Real Estate by taking additional courses as they become available so I may better serve my company and my clients.
